Women of a NiEW World is the first publication presented by NIEW in 2007. This publication was meant to create the awareness on the establishment of NIEW to the public and government officers of Malaysia. The book highlights the foundation of NIEW by describing NIEW’s mission, vision and objectives. Some of the gender issues of NAM Member Countries such as Women and Violence, Sex Trafficking and Women and Health are featured in this book .

The report was written following the successful completion of the inaugural Course on Gender and Development, conducted by NIEW from 14th to 26th August 2006. The report compiled the country papers presented by each participant of NAM Member Countries, enabling information sharing on gender related issues reflected in their own country. Summary of the lectures of each session also have been explored in this report.
