Since the announcement made by the Malaysian Government in 2011 on the policy of having 30 percent women in decision making positions in the corporate sector, NIEW is actively involved in this initiative and has developed a comprehensive Women Director’s Programme, with the aim to identify, shortlist and to train potential women to be placed as the Director of the Public Listed Companies and Statutory Bodies in Malaysia. Therefore, we would like to welcome application by interested, and more importantly, qualified candidates. For a start, we are targeting to have 250 candidates on the list. We are seeking people with management experience at the top level in both public and private sector, preferably at the age of 45 years and above.
